About Sandikazi

Spread the love

Welcome to my site.  Here you learn everything you need to know about mental health, and what you can do to overcome depression and anxiety.

I have worked for big corporates where meeting deadlines is key to your survival – the world of competition and strategies. I slept less to succeed being a good mother, and still meet the employer expectations and advance my career.  I survived from depression and left corporate.

I then joined the political arena.  I tried to apply financial policies and enforce adherence to statutes.  Biggest mistake, I was purged.  I lost everything I had worked hard to acquire.  Most painful was loosing our home. Not only me suffered from depression, but my children too.

My daughter and I were fortunate to survive without major damage.  My son not fortunate, he suffered major depression and anxiety, was in and out of psychiatric institutions. His depression worsened when his sister graduated with a medical degree. He felt useless, and saw himself as a failure, and developed suicidal thoughts.  Worse, he turned to narcotics. His father wrote him off, and wanted nothing to do with him.  But I never gave up on him.  I continued to love him, encouraged him to love himself, allowed him to play his favorite sport, rugby, and gym.

Let me say my love, patience, and understanding paid.  My son is free from depression and anxiety, studying again, and I believe he shall become an asset to his nation and the world.

No one deserves what my son went through.  I want to save families from losing their children, and vice versa.  My objective is to intensify the fight against depression and anxiety.  This sickness has robbed us of our icons, friends and families.  I believe that I will definitely reach my objective, with the support I’m receiving from Wealthy Affiliate

The purpose of this site is to  motivate, provide answers and support  to people who are suffering from depression and anxiety, their carers, their friends and families. Provide cure for this rapidly spreading sickness.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

  1. Hi Sandi,
I wanted to pop in and say thank you for comments you left on my website in regards to my blog about national gardening week.
Gardening helped me a lot to get over some very difficult times, just being outdoors with nature is one of the best ways to combat depression and anxiety.
I really appreciate the time you took to comment.
    All the very best
